Individuals with an interest in art and/or performance to help with classes, projects, and events.

Detailed description

We are an Arts Charity set up over 30 years ago that run bespoke art courses and projects with a specific focus on disability issues and social inclusion. Our office is in Brockworth, Gloucester but we run events countywide.


Art Shape run a range of exciting classes, such as upcycling furniture, drama, dance, photography, textiles, mixed media art, creative writing and creating large Puppets & costume creations for carnivals.


We target our activities at providing opportunities for adults and children facing disabling barriers, particularly learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health service users and survivors, victims of domestic abuse and older people.


If you looking for a rewarding way to give back to the community. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our exciting workshops and projects!

About Art Shape

Art Shape runs a countywide programme of arts courses and projects with a specific focus on disability issues and social inclusion. We provide opportunities for adults and children facing disabling barriers and strive to aid community cohesion, bringing diverse groups together to work on projects and get involved in community events. Art Shape’s distinct skill in socially inclusive practice is developing tailor made provision to meet specific needs of individuals, communities and organisations and directly engaging people through the arts on their own terms.
