Volunteer Driver

You can make a big difference to people’s lives by volunteering at Community Connexions. Imagine being unable to go shopping, visit loved ones or attend vital health appointments. This is the reality for the people you can help as a community transport volunteer.

Transport is vital for helping people retain their independence and tackle loneliness from social and rural isolation. In 2020 we helped over 90,000 passengers.

Without volunteers we would be unable to provide the breadth of services, or help as many people as we do. Will you join us in helping support people with community transport?

Volunteers are welcome from all backgrounds and walks of life. Give as little or as much as you can, some volunteers are full time some offer a few half days a month. Not only is volunteering an effective way to help people in your community, but it’s also an opportunity for you to meet new people and develop new skills. We cover Tetbury, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Dursley, Cirencester and everywhere inbetween.

As a Volunteer Driver you will be able to support the most vulnerable people living in your area and make a difference in their lives.

We will cover your expenses. Training and support is provided.
