Detailed description

Make a big difference to people’s lives by volunteering at Community Connexions

You can enable our vulnerable customers to

  •  attend vital health appointments
  • visit loved ones
  • attend therapy sessions
  • simply go shopping

Transport is vital for helping people retain their independence and tackle loneliness from social and rural isolation.

Without our volunteers we would be unable to provide the breadth of services or help as many people as we do. In 2020 we helped over 90,000 passengers.

Will you join us in helping support people with community transport?

Give as little or as much as you can, some volunteers are full time some offer a few half days a month. They are from all walks of life.

Meet new people and develop new skills whilst helping the most vulnerable people in your community.

You can drive in Tetbury, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Dursley, Cirencester and all points in between.

Your support for the most vulnerable people living in your area will make a huge difference in their lives.

We will cover your expenses. Training and support is provided.

To apply, please click 'Join' and you will be asked a short question. We will then be in touch to discuss the next steps with you.
