Are you passionate about education and community involvement? Do you have skills and experiences that you believe could make a positive impact on the future of the school? Cirencester Deer Park School is looking for individuals from the community to join its Local Governing Body and contribute to its mission of inspiring everyone to be their best every day.

About Cirencester Deer Park School: Located in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, Cirencester Deer Park School is a vibrant 11- 16 Secondary school of 1020 pupils. Led by Co-Headteachers, Liz Lang and Helen Charlesworth, the school’s core aims are to ensure that every pupil is safe, happy, and successful, reflecting the hopes of families for their children's education. To achieve these aims, the school community upholds the values of trust, kindness, and determination, which guide all actions and interactions within the school.

Cirencester Deer Park School is part of the Corinium Education Trust, with each school in the Trust having its own Local Governing Body. These local governing bodies play a vital role in supporting and challenging the leadership team to ensure the achievement of their goals.

About Corinium Education Trust

The Corinium Education Trust is a growing multi-academy trust, currently made up of four schools: Cirencester Deer Park School, Chesterton Primary School, Kemble Primary School, and Siddington C of E Primary School. In 2024-25, two additional primary schools will join and we are excited to open a new primary school in September 2026, serving the families of The Steadings, a new residential development in Cirencester.

Each school within the Trust has its own Local Governing Body, and we are looking for committed individuals to join us as school governors.
