Summary
Booking desk admin assisting with client transport needs. Good telephone skills & some computer knowledge required although full training will be provided.Detailed description
You will be part of a small team alongside other volunteers and Cotswold Friends staff to ensure our clients transport needs are met. This will involve answering calls from clients, making calls to volunteer drivers to allocate drives and other admin duties.
You should be confident on the telephone and have some computer knowledge although full training will be given on the software system we use.
The community Transport is a vital service to the rural community assisting the elderly and vulnerable adults get to medical or social appointments where public transport is not available or difficult to use.
We have vacancies most days for volunteers this can be a full day (9.30a - 3.30am) or just a morning or afternoon as you prefer. This should be regular hours each week so we can ensure office is covered at all times but of course you can take time off as required for holidays for example.
