Forest Pulse is a local charity based in the Forest of Dean and supports children and young people with disabilities and their families aged 4-25 years.
Forest Pulse believes that disabled children and young people should have the same opportunities to take part in social, recreational and sports activities as their non-disabled peers, and to be able to do this independently of their parents/carers. We therefore provide a wide range of after school, weekend and holiday activities which are accessible to any disabled young person regardless of their level of ability or mobility, and including those with profound, complex and challenging needs.
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life as long as you are aged 14 and above. Experience is not necessary and we will always look to provide you with as much support and advice as possible. Whatever your skill and interest we would love to hear from you. You may have an interest in music or enjoy socialising and want to help support the young people in these activities or you may have experience and skills which would help us in the office or with fundraising.
