Summary

We have several non-skiing roles for any volunteer (Age 16+)
Covering drag lift emergency stop buttons.

Detailed description

We need volunteers to cover two emergency buttons as our sit skis use the drag lift.

One at the loading station at the bottom of the slope and one higher up, to maintain visual coverage of the drag lift slope.

This is vital to cover us for obvious health and safety reasons - should any issue arise, stop the lift and liaise with other volunteers before re-starting the lift.

The position does not require any lifting, only a reasonable level of fitness and dexterity.

All our opportunities can be covered by skiers, at any time during the day, if you so wish, depending on volunteer availability.

You will receive training in all areas.

For the one day each month we operate at the dry ski slope, we separate our day into three sessions, to allow our skiers an hour and a half each:

1) 10:45 am until 12:15

2) 12:30 pm until 2pm

Lunch - 2 pm until 2:30 (You can buy food and drink at the ski centre)

3) 2:30 until 4pm
