Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to support our Warehouse and logistics team with collecting donations & sorting stock.

Detailed description

We have multiple opportunities within our Warehouse team, for volunteers to work towards a city free from Financial poverty and hunger.

Supermarket collections & hub delivery drivers

We are looking for volunteers to help us collect donations from our supermarket drop boxes, and distribute emergency food parcels to our new satellite hubs within Gloucester. The commitment would be a couple of hours a week, on a day that suits you, visiting some of the small stores across Gloucester to collect key donations that fill our parcels. We also require help with delivering stock to our new community drop-in centres within the city on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This role involves some manual handling of stock crates between the van and the various buildings. Full training provided.

You would have use of one of our small vans to make the collections/deliveries, and a friendly, supportive team of staff and volunteers to create lasting friendships with.

A full driving licence is required for this role. Successful applications are subject to 2 satisfactory references.
