Are you interested in family history? If so, then Gloucestershire Family History Society is for you! GFHS is a charity run entirely by volunteers, and there are roles for people with a variety of skills and experience. Being a volunteer for GFHS gives you the opportunity to learn new skills, meet people with similar interests and enjoy a sense of achievement.
We are currently looking for people to volunteer for a few hours a week in our Family History Centre. Volunteering in the Family History Centre involves helping and supporting members and visitors by:
- assisting them in their genealogy research;
- guiding people through our wide range of resources;
- taking payments for printing, books and donations (not all need to do this)
