We are seeking students who are currently in University or just recently finished and our looking to support children 7 - 12 year olds or young people 13 - 17.Detailed description
We have a great opportunity for those who are looking to start a career in Social Work, Family Law, Teacher, Social Care, or any other career which may involve working with families.
Our aim is to have young people aged 18 - 25 years old to help support with activities we will be offering families who have witnessed domestic abuse within their homes. We will be running our Family Approach Programme in Spring 2025.
The Domestic Abuse Recovering Together (DART) Programme in Gloucester & Forest of Dean is aimed at children aged 7 - 12 years old. Successful candidates will help our facilitator with their activities with the children for 10 weeks. Commitment of 2 hours an evening is required. Food and refreshments will be provided at every session. Full Training & DBS check provided
We will are also looking for Young People who can support the wellbeing of those 13 - 17 year olds. Having a listening ear, help with goal setting to reach their full potential. You'll be required to do a check in at least once a month and work closely with a Peer Mentor Consultant. We will also run fun activities which includes film night, games night, wellbeing activities and other activities. Food and refreshments will be provided at every session.
Full Training & DBS check provided

We support women and those who identify as women against domestic abuse. We're an community outreach group based in Gloucester. We aim to support women all over Gloucestershire. We host a large range of activities from creative outlets to support mental health and well-being to self defence classes.
