Summary

Our dynamic early years charity is seeking dedicated individuals to help shape the future of early education and play provision for young children.

Detailed description

Are you passionate about supporting children's early development and want to make a meaningful impact in Gloucestershire?

What We Offer

• A unique and rewarding opportunity to drive positive change in Early Years provision in Gloucestershire and beyond.

• A chance to develop valuable leadership & governance skills whilst gaining board level experience with a committed team of professionals dedicated to early childhood support.

• Flexibility in terms of time commitment and meetings.

No specialist Early Years experience required but an interest in children and families would obviously help! - just bring your passion, skills, and fresh perspective.

What We're Looking For

• Professionals from diverse backgrounds looking to take on an active role on our Board

• Attendance & engagement in six board meetings over the year (90 minutes each plus preparation time) with the potential of extending your participation to subgroups if desired.

• Strong strategic thinking skills ready to lead discussions, scrutinise board papers and provide guidance on new initiatives.

• A commitment to child welfare and community development

• Approachable, collaborative team players with willingness to learn and contribute to our charity's mission.

• To enhance the skills and knowledge base of our current team, we’d particularly love to hear from those with experience in marketing and events management.

Interested in making a difference? Talk to us! We welcome applications from individuals from various backgrounds and specialisms so please do get in touch. Even if you feel that you fit some but not all of the categories above, we’d still love to speak with you & hear what you can offer. Your skills can help us continue our vital work supporting Gloucestershire's youngest children.
