Role Summary
The Advertising Manager is responsible for seeking and securing advertising opportunities for companies at Pride in Gloucestershire events. This role involves managing the booking process, coordinating advertising placements, and ensuring alignment with the Event Experience Department to enhance the overall event experience.
Duties
- - Identify and approach potential advertisers to secure placements at Pride events.
- - Manage the booking process for advertising, including liaising with clients and handling agreements.
- - Collaborate with the Event Experience Department to plan and implement advertising placements in line with the event design.
- - Monitor the delivery of advertising commitments and ensure client satisfaction.
- - Develop promotional materials to highlight advertising opportunities at Pride events.
- - Maintain accurate records of advertising agreements and placements.
- - Report on advertising outcomes and performance to the Head of Finance and Trustees.
- - Ensure compliance with relevant advertising standards and guidelines.
Qualities Needed
- - Strong commitment to the organisation, with excellent judgement and integrity.
- - Proven experience in advertising sales, marketing, or a related field.
- - Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage potential advertisers.
- - Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple advertising clients and placements.
- - Collaborative mindset to work effectively with the Event Experience Department.
- - Creative and resourceful, with a focus on delivering high-impact advertising solutions.
- - Proactive and self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
General Requirements
- - Be available for approximately 10 hours per week, with additional time during events.
- - Be able to use Microsoft Teams and email communication effectively.
- - Act independently of any other interests and declare any conflict of interests.
- - Not have any convictions for fraud or dishonesty, never to have been made bankrupt, or disqualified from acting as a company director or charity trustee.
