Commitment: 10 Hours per week
Role Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling materials that promote Pride in Gloucestershire’s events, activities, and brand. This role ensures that all visual assets align with the charity’s mission and branding, contributing to a consistent and engaging public image.
Duties
- Design promotional materials such as flyers, posters, social media graphics, and digital content.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to ensure all visual assets align with branding guidelines.
- Create designs that effectively communicate the charity’s message to diverse audiences.
- Develop and maintain templates for recurring design needs.
- Work with event teams to design signage, stage backdrops, and other visual elements for events.
- Manage and organise digital assets, ensuring accessibility for team members.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools to enhance the quality of creative outputs.
- Provide creative input for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Qualities Needed
- Strong commitment to the organisation, with excellent judgement and integrity.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative and innovative, with the ability to produce designs that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
General Requirements
- Be available for approximately 10 hours per week.
- Be able to use Microsoft Teams and email communication effectively.
- Act independently of any other interests and declare any conflict of interests.
- Not have any convictions for fraud or dishonesty, never to have been made bankrupt, or disqualified from acting as a company director or charity trustee.

We aim to promote awareness of LGBTQ+ issues by providing information, education and entertainment in a safe and welcoming environment. We are dedicated to campaigning for progress and acceptance for our whole community.
We hold an annual Pride event and Parade in Gloucester City where we invite our community and our allies to join us in celebration and reflection and a number of others events throughout the county.
