About Seren's Wish

Seren's Wish is a registered charity that provides support to families and children in Bishops Cleeve, Tewkesbury, and beyond. Our mission originated from a heartfelt desire by a 7-year-old girl named Seren, who wanted to ensure that every child had a present to open on Christmas Day. Here are some key points about Seren's Wish:

1. Annual Toy Appeal**: Seren's Wish runs an annual toy appeal to make sure every child experiences the magic of Christmas. They have already provided over 750 sacks of gifts to children as part of this initiative.

2. Everyday Support: Beyond Christmas, Seren's Wish provides year-round support. This includes assistance with everyday essentials for families and children.

3. HAF - Holiday Activities & Food: The charity offers holiday clubs for children aged 8 years and older, including those with additional needs. These schemes run during school holidays and are funded by Gloucestershire County Council¹.

4. Community Support: Seren's Wish collects donations throughout the year for their Christmas gift appeal. They also provide "Everyday Essentials Boxes" and collaborate with other charities to reduce social isolation and support the community.

5. Strong Network: With over 1000 active members on their social media channels, Seren's Wish forms a powerful network. This allows them to advocate in the local community and directly serve children and teens¹.
