Volunteer Receptionist at Stroud Natural Health Clinic

This is a chance to be receptionist for clients coming and going from the clinic. Clients will be having our natural health treatments and consultations with NHS therapists. NHS talking therapists will be using our rooms one day per week. You can work for just a few hours or the whole day.

There will be people coming in to make enquiries about the treatments we offer. You can give them leaflets, and names and phone numbers, and take their details and pass them on to our therapists. You will not be taking payments or making appointments. No DBS check etc required

There will be quiet periods between arrivals. There is a computer with internet access on the receptionist's desk which you are welcome to use.

So we are looking for someone interested in health and possibly mental health who can welcome people to the clinic but also spend some time alone. Many people say that the clinic has a good atmosphere. It is a pleasant place to be. It is Just off Stroud High Street, behind Moonflower Clothes shop, in a beautiful courtyard with a cafe and a wine shop.

You will meet our acupuncturists, and our other practitioners, and NHS psychologists, and clients coming to consult them. There is a lot of information about natural health treatments in the clinic if you are interested.

You will need to come to an informal interview with me, Peter Adams. And if we both decide to go ahead there can be a short time of me or my daughter (who helps me run the clinic) sitting with you until you feel comfortable with being there.
