We're looking for motivated ambassadors to help grow this small, brilliant children's cancer charity in memory of an inspiring kid called Charlie.Detailed description
Are you passionate about helping bring some sunshine to the lives of children living with cancer, along with their families? Team Charlie is looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals to join our team as Ambassadors. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a charity set up in memory of Charlie Ilsley dedicated to helping children living with brain, neck and spinal tumours and growing Charlie’s legacy.
What will you do as an Ambassador?
- Create and tap into opportunities for local fundraising events e.g. coffee mornings, walks, pub quizzes.
- Raise awareness about our work and engage with the local community.
- Support with social media (particularly Instagram) by helping to generate content or spread the word about fundraising campaigns and events.
- Help to establish new partnerships with local businesses and educational establishments.
- Represent Team Charlie at local events.
What are we looking for?
- A passion for helping others.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude, willing to take initiative to help us grow.
- Experience in fundraising, social media (particularly Instagram) or event coordination is a plus, but not essential.

In memory of 13 year old Charlie Ilsley, we are a registered charity (no. 1199139) offering grants to children living in the UK who have been diagnosed with brain, neck or spinal tumours through the provision of grants for gifts or treats, and family holiday accommodation to offer respite, create a positive experience and/or an opportunity to make memories.
