Events Organisers

Do you want to help Teckels rescue and rehome cats and dogs across Gloucestershire?

We are looking for Event Organisers to help us plan and run our vibrant calendar of events including our Spring Fair & Dog Show, Summer Show, and Winter Fair!

What will you be doing?

• Supporting with event planning: This could be costing food, sorting raffle prizes, baking cakes, booking stallholders, or advertising the event on social media or out and about
• On the day: You could be put in charge of a stall, serving food and drinks, booking contestants into the Dog Show, car parking, or taking photos and videos for social media
• After the event: attending a debrief where we talk about what worked and what didn’t, and what we’ve learned for next time!

What will you need?

• All training will be provided, so you don’t need any experience in events or organising
• If there’s a specific area you’d like to gain skills in, we’ll work together to support you in building these skills
• You will need to be over 18 to volunteer with us

• If you’re on refreshments, we’ll pay for you to complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
