Summary

Gallery Invigilation Volunteers will ensure the security of artworks, whilst welcoming and engaging with visitors on the current exhibition.

Detailed description

This role is supervised by the Duty Managers.

• Welcoming visitors into the Wilson galleries

• Talk to visitors and answer questions as best you can, these questions could be on the Wilson, the exhibition, or Cheltenham in general.

• Pass any enquiries along to the relevant departments or teams

• Collate feedback, comments and suggestions from visitors and ensure all feedback is passed along to the Duty Manager.

• You are our eyes and ears in the galleries, report anything that needs further attention to the Duty Manager.

• Assist the Duty Manager in the safe evacuation of the building, should the need occur.

• Tidy and top up resources within the galleries

• Confidence to interact with members of the public
