Introduction
Isbourne Arts is a new arts, youth and community venue in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. We’re looking for a trustee with marketing experience to strengthen the current trustee team as we prepare to open in the autumn.
The role
Our marketing trustee will be part of a small team of trustees, and expected to lead in the following areas
Market research: devise and deliver a programme of market research - surveys, on-street interviews and focus groups - to gather a sound understanding of local needs, interests, and preferences and what potential audiences and users want the venue to provide
Marketing strategy and brand development: informed by the market research, develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy suitable for a new venue. Establish and communicate its identity, develop customer engagement and loyalty
Customer relationship management: use data provided by the in-house CRM system to communicate and nurture relationships with audiences and partners

About being a Trustee
As a Trustee, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding our organisation's strategic direction, as we move from purchase and conversion into operation. Your expertise and dedication will help shape our programmes, strengthen our financial sustainability, and broaden our outreach efforts.
Trustees are expected to attend board meetings regularly (whether online or in person), participate in committee work, and champion Isbourne Arts and the charity’s mission.

Trustees undertake DBS checks and safeguarding training to fulfil their role.
