Monthly meetings to review planning applications and provide a Civic Trust response as part of the statutory consultation process.

Detailed description

Gloucester Civic Trust was set up in 1972 as a charitable company limited by guarantee to protect and rescue heritage assets in the city.


Its charitable purposes include: To promote high standards of planning and architecture. To secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of local features of historic and public interest.


Details of consultation requests are circulated once per month and we debate as a group. Typically this is at 16:30 on a Wednesday evening towards the end of the month.


We are keen to attract applicants who share our values and ethos and are committed to making a difference. We are targeting people with experience or skills in one or more of the following areas:
